How to file a complaint on Gosuslugi

To submit a request through Gosuslugi, you need a verified account. This is the only limitation for using this tool.

What the Feedback Platform is

Filing complaints on Gosuslugi is handled through a separate platform. It is called the Feedback Platform, often abbreviated as POS in Russian.

Any complaint submitted through the platform is sent directly to the organization if that organization is connected to the Feedback Platform. Most government organizations are connected. If an organization is not connected, the response will provide contacts where you can send your complaint or suggestion.

The Feedback Platform page also contains an online map with public requests submitted by citizens.

A road sign fell down

Complaint

A road sign has fallen down near a pedestrian crossing. The sign is lying next to the roadway, making it hard for drivers and pedestrians to see it. Please inspect the sign and restore it to its proper place.

Summary of the response

The responsible organization reported that the work had been completed: the road sign was restored to the required standard.

Snow is not being removed from courtyards

Complaint

Good afternoon. After the snowfall, snow has not been removed from the courtyard and the area near the building for several days. Only narrow paths near the entrances have been cleared, while parking spaces, paths to the waste container area and main pedestrian routes remain covered with snow.

Because of the thaw, the snow turns into compacted ice and ruts. Children cannot safely get to school or kindergarten, and elderly residents have difficulty leaving their homes. Please organize proper cleaning of the area and monitor that the work is completed.

Summary of the response

The response stated that cleaning this territory falls within the responsibility of a district maintenance organization.

The responsible employees were instructed to strengthen control over the cleaning of the territory. The applicant was also provided with contact details of the organization responsible for the maintenance of the area.

In this case, the request was forwarded to the responsible organization, and contact details were provided so that the citizen could contact it directly.

Problem with waste containers

Complaint

There have not been enough household waste containers at the container site near the buildings for a long time. Previously there were two containers with lids, but now only one container without a lid remains, and it quickly overflows.

Garbage accumulates around the site, animals scatter it, and the area starts to look like a dump. Please restore a sufficient number of containers with lids and bring the container site back to proper condition.

The responsible organization reported that the request had been fulfilled: additional waste containers were installed at the container site.

Dangerous condition of the road surface

Complaint

The road surface at the intersection with tram tracks is in a dangerous condition. Please inspect this section and arrange repairs.

Deep potholes, subsidence areas and asphalt damage have formed in the tram track crossing area. Cars have to slow down sharply and drive around the damaged sections, which creates a risk of accidents.

Please record the violation of road maintenance requirements and carry out patch repairs or restore the crossing surface. Until the repairs are completed, please consider temporary safety measures such as warning signs or a speed limit.

Summary of the response

The response explained that, in road maintenance, emergency defects that create an immediate threat to traffic safety are addressed first.

The listed defects were not classified as emergency defects. At the same time, repairs to the section were planned for a future maintenance period, and the location remained under the control of the road maintenance organization.

The response also stated that temporary speed restrictions are usually introduced during road or repair works, so such measures may not be applied before the repairs begin.

  3. Select the region and describe the situation you faced. For example, you can report broken playground equipment or a damaged road.
  4. If you want to report several problems, describe each one separately.
  5. If needed, attach photos, videos, documents or screenshots that describe the problem.
  6. Select the category, subcategory and recipient responsible for resolving the issue. For example: Improvement → Courtyard area → Administration of the Pervomaysky District.
  7. Specify the address where the problem needs to be solved and indicate whether you have already submitted messages on this topic.
  8. Grant the required permissions and submit the message. It will be reviewed by the authority responsible for resolving the issue.

The response will arrive in your personal account within 30 calendar days.
